Delicious Homemade – Fluffy Pancakes Recipe

by Dubem Nwokike

Homemade Pancakes is one of my best morning breakfast that can be easily made within 20-25 minutes and which also saves money for the family . Back in the days while l was in secondary school, my elder sister use to make it a whole lot for my siblings and I for breakfast before leaving for school which always hit different while eaten hot.

I don’t know how you all prefer to make your pancakes weather plain or not but my sister makes sure to use fresh pepper, onion and lots of milk.

So one day I had to beg her teach me how to make it and ever since I mastered this recipe, pancakes have always been my breakfast meal especially on weekends and that’s why I want to share my sister’s amazing secret recipe with you all.

INGREDIENTS

• Liquid milk or 6 tablespoon Powder milk (I prefer making use of lots of milk because it is the main ingredient)
• 12 tablespoon all-purpose flour
• 1½ tablespoon sugar
• 6 fresh pepper- chopped into tiny pieces
• 1 medium onion – chopped into tiny pieces
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• Vegetable oil
• 2 Eggs

PROCEDURE

In a bowl sieve your flour, add sugar, baking powder, milk then mix thoroughly and set aside

Bring another small bowl break your eggs and whisk very well ,when that is properly whisked, pour it into the mixed flour and mix well, add chopped pepper, onion and mix to incorporate.

When your done mixing everything together add little water but not too much, the mixture have to be thick but not too thick neither should it be watery then add little vegetable oil ( I prefer using vegetable oil instead of butter) mix then set aside.

Note: if your making use of liquid milk then there will be no need to add water depending on the quantity of liquid milk you are adding.

Heat your pan on a very low heat, very important ( remember it must be a non- stick pan) add little oil then pour a scope of your mixture into the pan then allow to cook for 1 minute and flip over.

Avoid it from burning, transfer it to flat plate and repeat this process until the mixture is used up.

It can be served with any chilled drink of your choice. You will be sure to tnk me later after trying it out.
