FLUFFY PANCAKES RECIPE – THE SOFTEST, AIRIEST PANCAKES YOU’LL EVER MAKE

There’s something magical about a stack of warm, fluffy pancakes—the kind that melt in your mouth, rise beautifully, and fill your kitchen with the smell of comfort. Whether it’s a slow Sunday morning or a quick weekday breakfast, these homemade fluffy pancakes are easy to make and incredibly satisfying.

With simple ingredients and a fast method, this recipe gives you soft, cloud-like pancakes every single time.


INGREDIENTS (MAKES 6–8 PANCAKES)

  • 1 cup (120g) flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda (optional but makes them fluffier)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
  • Optional: vanilla essence, cinnamon, or nutmeg

HOW TO MAKE SUPER FLUFFY PANCAKES

1. MIX THE DRY INGREDIENTS

In a bowl, whisk together:
flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2. MIX THE WET INGREDIENTS

In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter/oil.
Add vanilla if you want more flavor.

3. COMBINE

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
Stir gently—don’t overmix. A few lumps make pancakes fluffier.

4. COOK

Heat a lightly oiled pan on medium heat.
Pour about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake.
When bubbles appear on top, flip and cook the other side until golden brown.

 

5. SERVE

Top with:

  • Honey
  • Syrup
  • Fruit
  • Powdered sugar
  • Peanut butter
